Work It!
This program uses personal connection and dynamic music to increase your awareness of body sensations to improve conditioning. Nia addresses the body’s five main sensations: flexibility, strength, mobility, agility and stability and focuses on conditioning the body and the nervous system. Movements work with and against gravity, working our muscles in different ways. In this playshop you will learn how to maximize your workout to get the results you want. Come enJOY moving into fitness and health in a way that combines your whole self- BODY MIND AND SPIRIT. This playshop will be participatory and we will move to several Nia songs. We will address these questions: How do we know we are conditioning our Bodies? How can we become healthier and more fit in a safe way? What is the magic behind the Nia routines?
